Infinity Home collection started building the VUE series in 2014 and the series (VUE 3) became their Best Seller, winning awards for its unique floor plan. The VUE 3 at 5080 Willow just closed last month at $910,000 after being on the market for a little while. We listed the Property at 949K back in May and at that time there were no VUE 3 homes available in Stapleton. After about a week on the market several other VUE 3’s came to market which made the competition tough. Buyers had more choices and given that the Willow property lacked a yard due to the 3-car garage option over the yard, we had to get competitive by reducing price. After evaluating the market, we decided to remove the property for 30 days over the slow period of JULY/AUGUST and re-list once some of the competition had sold or had gone under contract. This strategy worked and we were able to procure a buyer in a few weeks and closed in 30 days.
Point here is that the Market conditions do change, so make sure your professional representation knows what’s going on in the market and can advise you on what do if the home isn’t selling.
